BEST. RINGTONE. EVER.

So I'm listening to iTunes on shuffle, and the song "Ring Ding Dong" by SHINee comes on. I couldn't help but share it with you guys.

This is my favorite SHINee song, and it's quite addicting. I even used it for my ringtone. I remember once when I was taking finals, my teacher was about to hand out the test and said "I hope your cell phones are all off." And because either God has a sense of humor or someone was stalking me and wanted to be a wise ass, someone called my phone (which had the volume all the way up), and all you heard was "RING DING DONG RING DING DONG!!! RING DIGGI DING DIGGI DING DING DING!!!" *facepalm* Embarrassment. Of all the times someone could have called, they had to call then. Thanks, universe.

What's worse, I didn't even know the person who called me. XP

Today's lovely little creations~

I must be taking after my mother more than I thought. This morning when I woke up, I immediately got on Etsy to check for sales and messages, and then I got to work on making a pair of earrings. I'm giving in to workaholicism...ness. Here is the end result:

I'm particularly fond of these earrings...in fact, I might make a matching pendant. Or a pair for myself. ;D I think they're very cute but still kinda punkish and out there. I actually had no idea what I was doing when I started this. I was just experimenting with new materials, and I'm happy with this outcome. I'll be a little sad to see these go when they sell though. lol

I was using resin for the first time about a month ago, and I made a ton of resin pendants (which I haven't yet listed), and I finally decided to add one to Esty. You see, I wanted to wait until I got ball chains to put them on, but all of the ball chains I've ever bought discolor too quickly. Anyway, here's what I added:

I love how deceiving this pendant is. It looks like a dark blue when lying down, but hold it up to the light and it looks so bright like the ocean. Instead of using resin dye like a sane person would, I used food dye. When you put food dye in resin, it has a different effect. The dye stays in a round form, but then some of the color seeps out...it's hard to describe. I have another pendant that shows it better that I might upload a picture of. This one I stirred so it's not a good example. I think I'm starting to ramble, so I'll shut up about the pendant now. XD

So now I think I'll get back to watching TV...so far I've watched Happy Feet and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. I think I'm gonna watch Rocky Horror Picture Show now. :) And on that note...

LEEET'S DOOO THE TIIIME WAAARP AGAAAIN~!

Gotta start somewhere...

Hello! This is my very first post here, and honestly, I don't know what I should write, but I'll wing it. My name is Lillian, but you can call me Lilly. I am in love with anything artsy, especially music. Not that sickening nonsense you hear on the radios nowadays like Lady Gaga or Justin Beiber, but REAL music. I'm talking Aerosmith, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Terence Trent D'Arby, U2, Blondie, and the list goes on. (If you don't know any of those, I suggest you look them up.) Don't get me wrong, I like some new music. But most of that would be foreign. lol

Anyway, art and music are a big part of my life. I'd be lost with them. I love drawing, I work on crafts nearly everyday, I love cooking (yes, that is an art), and I do this all while listening to music and dancing around like a fool. Am I crazy? Possibly. Weird? Definitely. But at least I know how to have fun. :)

So for the past month and a half I've had a shop open on Etsy.com called Vulcan Alley Crafts. I've worked hard on it, from the items to the banner to the advertising. I'm proud of my little shop. I mostly sell jewelry, but I want to do more with it, but what, I haven't quite figured out yet. So this is me doing a little shameless self promotion. Visit my shop if you like jewelry and/or shopping. :D

I guess that's all I have to say for now. Thanks for reading! I'll be sure to post again soon.
